Bear Hunting Fact Sheet
A Guide & Check-list for hunters at RAINBOW POINT LODGE

Honesty and hard work is how we run our hunts, and is what keeps our sportsmen coming back year after year. We have a very large bear hunt area surrounding our lodge location, and a good healthy bear population to draw from. The bear hunt Rainbow Point Lodge is not a guaranteed hunt, and we don't believe there can honestly be such a thing. In more than 25 years of baiting and guiding, we have had many more good seasons than bad, and hundreds of very satisfied hunters. You can be assured that we take our hunts seriously and always provide you with the best possible chance of success. The rest is up to you.

Timing & Length of Hunts
Refer to our rate sheet for specific dates of hunts offered yearly. Hunts are quoted on a basis of 7 nights accommodation, and 6 days hunting. Arrival is on a Saturday and hunting starts on Sunday.

Where is the Hunting Area:
We have exclusive commercial rights to a large, private Bear Management Area, and our lodge is located in the centre of this area. Our hunting can be as close as ½ mile from the Lodge, to as far as 20 miles. On average most of our hunters will travel 10-20 minutes by transportation to get to their stand. You will not have to drive great distances just to get to your stand.

Transportation Requirements:
As most of our baits are in remote areas you should anticipate supplying your own ATV to access the sites. We do have a number of baits with truck access. Hunters must discuss their personal requirements when reserving the hunt. : If you have not discussed transportation with Bob we will assume you are bringing ATV’s for your group.
