Rainbow Point Lodge is situated in the midst of some of the most pristine wilderness of Northwestern Ontario, and with that comes an abundance of wildlife. Grouse are no exception. The past 3 years has seen a tremendous increase in the grouse population, rebounding to late '90s numbers. This past fall was no exception as a limit of 5 grouse quite often could be taken in minutes. With a 3 day possession limit of 15, you'll have plenty of grouse to enjoy during your stay, and plenty to take home for you and your family to enjoy. There are miles of accessible trails and logging roads within minutes of the lodge. If you don't have an ATV, we'd be happy to direct you to areas that are accessible by vehicle and walking. There is nothing more pleasant than walking down a quiet trail with the fall colored leaves hitting the ground around you as you hunt for grouse.

You can combine your grouse hunt with excellent fall fishing on Perrault Lake. Our Complete Fishing Package, including a housekeeping cottage, boat, motor, etc., is a perfect choice to enjoy your combination vacation. The grouse season opens September 15th, and with the special fall rate, you'll find the trip very easy on the pocket book.
